Frequently asked questions
May an assistant submit for a business owner?
Yes, only when the business owner asked the assistant to submit. The public request endpoint requires an explicit owner-request attestation.
Does an API response bind coverage?
No. It acknowledges stored information and lists missing fields. A licensed agent reviews every request; coverage is not bound by this API.
How fast does an agent respond?
A licensed agent reviews requests, usually within one business day. Additional carrier questions may be needed.
Where should documents be sent?
Use the secure quote form for private file uploads. Do not place tax IDs, passwords or confidential project records in public API metadata.
